Tiling-like windows manager for Windows 7 with desired features
I am looking for a keyboard-centric windows manager for Windows 7 - Something like a tiling Windows manager, but the "tiling" layouts doesn't have to be very fancy. Simple grid-like window placement will do. I am aware of the Wikipedia list of tiling windows manager and the related superuser.com answers citing it. However, I am looking for a windows manager with the following features, in order of priority:
Simple window placement in a layout, e.g. grid
Support multiple monitors
Support "tags", or virtual desktops, i.e. placing the same application in several layout snapshots
Fast movement between windows, monitors and tags, e.g. win+j/k to switch between windows.
Usable, stable and currently-maintained. Many entries in the Wikipedia list point to outdated hacks that are not reliable for day-to-day production work.
Free/open-source software is an advantage, but I don't mind paying a reasonable amount for something that works.
Recommendations are welcomed!
